Thomas M. Carsey Graduate Student Symposium

In collaboration with the Odum Institute, the University Libraries Research Hub is hosting the Thomas M. Carsey Graduate Student Symposium.

The symposium will feature graduate students conducting social science research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Students will present research posters in a conference-like setting, networking with other researchers and students. Posters will be judged by a faculty panel and awards will be provided for the winning poster.

The symposium is named in memory of Tom Carsey, former director of the Odum Institute and esteemed political scientist, who was an advocate of graduate student research and support throughout his professional career. This event is part of the Odum Institute's 95th Anniversary.
