Manage your Research with Tropy and Zotero

This workshop will provide hands-on practice with Zotero and Tropy, two useful tools for managing research materials.

Tropy is a file management tool that works for files in all kinds of formats. Researchers working to manage images of primary source materials may find this tool especially useful.

Zotero is bibliographic management software useful for organizing research materials. While we offer another full workshop on Zotero, this segment will provide advanced tips for dealing with large numbers of files, tagging, linking, and Zotero’s plugin for managing attachments, ZotFile. Storage strategies will also be discussed. Absolute beginners to Zotero are encouraged to take the Zotero workshop to learn the basics in advance.
