Event Information

Introduction to ArcGIS Storymaps

This workshop is being offered remotely via Zoom only. Registrants will receive a Zoom link; those on the waitlist will not receive a Zoom link unless they are bumped up to a registered spot. The day after the workshop, registrants and those on the waitlist will receive a link to the workshop recording.

Integrated into the ArcGIS Online platform, the StoryMaps feature allows users to make informative, map-based webpages without any coding! Examples can be found here.

This hands-on, guided workshop will focus on creating storymaps with an array of mixed media – photos, videos, maps, and more! By the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to create their own beautiful, interactive StoryMaps with pre-existing materials.

This workshop is offered by University Libraries and will be led by librarian Phil McDaniel.

Note: While everyone is welcome to join this workshop, we can only facilitate access to ArcGIS Online for UNC-Chapel Hill affiliates.
