Event Information
Tableau I Discussion (Online via Zoom)
Tableau is a user-friendly software application used to create static or interactive visualizations and dashboards. Examples can be found here.
Tableau’s drag-and-drop interface provides tools to build a variety of visualizations with no coding required, and visualizations can be embedded in websites by copying and pasting embed code. Attendees will get started with Tableau by following along with a hands-on instructional video prior to the session. During the Tableau I Discussion, attendees will discuss and receive help on the exercises they completed.
This discussion session is offered by University Libraries and will be led by librarian Lorin Bruckner.
Note: Participation in this workshop is dependent on completing the exercises and watching the instructional video ahead of time. Registrants will receive information on how to access the video.
This session also requires you to have access to Tableau. Please follow the instructions here to download and install Tableau. If you are unable to install the software, please contact Lorin Bruckner for assistance.
