Tableau I
This workshop is being offered remotely via Zoom only. Registrants will receive a Zoom link; those on the waitlist will not receive a Zoom link unless they are bumped up to a registered spot. The day after the workshop, registrants and those on the waitlist will receive a link to the workshop recording.
Tableau is a user-friendly software application used to create static or interactive visualizations and dashboards. Examples can be found here.
Tableau’s drag-and-drop interface provides tools to build a variety of visualizations with no coding required, and visualizations can be embedded in websites by copying and pasting embed code. Attendees will get started with Tableau in this hands on workshop by learning how to import data, create basic charts and maps, make and publish dashboards, and more!
This workshop is offered by University Libraries and will be led by librarian Lorin Bruckner.
This session requires you to have access to Tableau. Please follow the instructions here to download and install Tableau. If you are unable to install the software, please contact Lorin Bruckner for assistance.
