Open Access Week webinar: Learning from University-Wide Research Metrics
What can bibliometrics teach us about university-wide research? Learn where UNC-Chapel Hill faculty publish, what they cite, how much they spend on publishing costs, and more. Databases such as Scopus, Dimensions, and OpenAlex can provide insights useful for collection management, research impact, and usage of library resources, among other things. This session will briefly mention some technical aspects of bibliometrics, but it will primarily focus on what we can learn from this kind of data.
