Juul Labs Document Collection Library Virtual Training Event

This class will explore research tools and resources related to searching the 4 million documents in the NC Juul Settlement collection. We will cover content of the JUUL searching guide and text analysis tools developed for the collection, review example search strategies in the database, and discuss the use of filters for the collection. Additionally, the text analysis resources for the JUUL Library will provide scholars with workflows through Jupyter Notebooks and explore AI applications of the text within the documents.   This workshop is offered through University Libraries and the Health Sciences Library and lead by the two Graduate Assistants, Julia Ruth and Amulyavani Katragadda.
