Clear Health Communication: Strategies to Communicate Clearly with the Public, Patients, and Each Other (Research Week Event)

Health professionals, students, and researchers often and unintentionally make health information and communication overly complex and difficult to understand for patients and caregivers, as well as those not in their field of study. This session will cover some strategies, resources, and best practices in using plain language to convey information by promoting and practicing clear written and verbal communication.

This workshop is offered by the UNC Health Sciences Library and led by Terri Ottosen.

This workshop is being offered remotely via Zoom only. Registrants will receive a Zoom link; those on the waitlist will not receive a Zoom link unless they are bumped up to a registered spot.
