Navigating Scholarly Publishing: Choosing Where and How to Publish (Graduate School Event)

This workshop will discuss key aspects of the publication process, including selecting a journal, avoiding predatory publishers, publishing open access, and obtaining an ORCID iD. For those that are NIH funded, it will also include a discussion of the NIH Public Access Policy and how to comply.

Graduate students and post-docs from all disciplines are welcome.

This workshop is offered by the UNC Health Sciences Library through the Graduate School and led by Katherine Howell and Elizabeth Moreton. It is part of the For Researchers workshop track, and it will be held remotely via Zoom.
