PlayMakers Repertory Company was founded in 1976 as the professional theater of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Department of Dramatic Art. Join us as Vivienne Benesch, producing artistic director for PlayMakers since 2016, lifts the curtain to share some behind-the-scenes tales of PlayMakers and her vision for this now nationally renowned company’s future.

The program is in conjunction with the exhibition Setting the Stage at PlayMakers Repertory Company: 40+ Years of Magic, which will be on view in the North Carolina Collection Gallery in Wilson Library, November 10, 2017 – March 4, 2018.

The event is presented by the North Carolina Collection at Wilson Special Collections Library and the UNC Department of Dramatic Art. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
