Build an Explorable Video Game Environment in Unity3D
In this workshop you will use the video game engine Untiy3D to create an environment to explore with a first-person, playable character. Topics covered will include using object primitives, importing 3D models into Unity3D, applying textures to models, adding colliders to meshes, and inserting a playable character with which to walk around your modeled environment. No coding or prior experience required. Please bring a laptop and mouse to the workshop, and download the free Unity3D Personal software (here) prior to the workshop. It is suggested, but not required, that you attend our SketchUp or 3D printing workshop prior this one.
