Zine Making (print-based)

Do you write your own poetry? Draw your own doodles? Make collages?

Bring your creativity to the Undergraduate Library and get ready to cut and paste with the SkillfUL staff. You'll learn about the history of zines, as well as how to make your very own zine! The Zine Making workshop will be held in the Undergraduate Library, Room 124, on Wednesday, March 7th from 6 to 7 PM. Participants will have the opportunity to make and take their own zine. All materials are provided.

Zines are small, self-published books and magazines that incorporate artwork and text to share ideas, art, poetry, politics, and stories. A variety of zines will be on display for inspiration.

You do not need specialized prior knowledge. If you have any questions, please contact Kelsey at knhammer[at]live[dot]unc[dot]edu.
