Whitney Clarke, WiderNet’s coordinator for the Correctional Offline Educational Platform, has recently deployed three eGranary devices in the Texas Correctional System to support inmate education.

The people in these environments have restricted access to information, particularly the internet, and the COEP allows inmates to make authentic steps toward rehabilitation with a large addition of educational resources.

Clarke will join us in the Davis Library Research Hub (2nd floor) to discuss the processes and challenges in building and delivering these transformative information tools.
