SkillfUL: Adobe Audition for Podcasting w/ The MRC

Want to learn how to start a podcast but don't know where to start? Join the MRC as they give you a solid foundation about what equipment to use and how to edit your audio files.

The Adobe Audition for Podcasting workshop will be at the Media Resources Center's Media Lab on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 2-3pm.

*** In order to participate fully in the Adobe sessions, you MUST have an AdobeID prior to attendance. Not having it by the time the session begins can result in not being able to participate in the activities.

If you plan to use your own laptop, please download Adobe Creative Cloud, then install Adobe Audition.

Students: You can request for a student AdobeID account by clicking on “Student Order” on the ITS Adobe webpage.

Faculty and Staff: You can request for an instructional, research, or administrative AdobeID by going to the link and following directions: through ITS.

IMPORTANT: ITS will have to approve your request for the software. Though turnaround time, especially during business hours, can be relatively quick, it is not instant. Please request the software at least one business day before the workshop.

General computer skills are required, but you do not need specialized prior knowledge.

Registration is required. Bringing your own laptop is encouraged.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sam Mandani at smandani[at]live[dot]unc[dot]edu.
