CANCELED: Nowruz Celebration

UPDATE: Due to changes in the University's operations in light of COVID-19,
we regret to announce that this event has been canceled.


Nowruz, the ancient festival marking the arrival of Spring, is celebrated in Iran, Anatolia, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.

Come  and  enjoy  traditional  refreshments  in recognition of the new year. The celebration will follow a talk,  "The Last Iranian Americans? Bans, Sanctions, and Immigrant Disintegration,"  by Neda Maghbouleh, assistant professor of sociology at the University of Toronto.
