Humanities Research Management: Tropy and Other Tools (Online via Zoom)

Conducting research with lots of images or pdf files and not sure how to organize them? This workshop will cover some basic strategies and tools to make managing your research materials (of any format) much easier. Based on a 2011 blog post by UCLA professor Miriam Posner, you’ll learn about tactics like subject tagging; developing an effective file-naming convention; and documenting the research process; and tools like Tropy, Zotero, and Bulk Rename Utility.
