Event Information

Wilson Library Open House

Visit Wilson Library for music, memories and special exhibitions.

The library evokes memories of 1970 and 1972 with a photo slideshow highlighting the class of ’70 and ‘72, courtesy of the North Carolina Collection Photographic Archives, and a soundtrack of hits from those years provided by the Southern Folklife Collection. Visit the exhibition “Race Deconstructed: Science and the Making of Difference” in the N.C. Collection Gallery and the exhibition “The Cartoons of Dwane Powell” in the Pleasants Family Assembly Room.

Free and open to the public; no RSVP required.

Graduating students are encouraged to snap a photo in the Fearrington Reading Room, one of the most iconic and beautiful spaces on campus.
