Python Crash Courses: Intro to Data
This workshop builds on the "Python Crash Course: Basics" foundation to introduce fundamental tools for working with tabular data in Python. We'll cover Jupyter Notebooks and Markdown, Pandas, data visualization packages, and more!
This course assumes a general familiarity with object types, base Python data structures, file paths, and flow control (if statements & for-loops), as covered in "Python Crash Course: Basics". Those interested in attending Basics and Intro to Data should register for both.
This workshop is offered by University Libraries and will be led by librarians Phil McDaniel, Lorin Bruckner, Michele Hayslett, and Matt Jansen, along with Mark Reed from ITS Research Computing.
